Pretoria Boys High School proudly hosts an iconic 24 Hour & 6 Hour Mountain Bike Race.

Set on the sprawling 35 hectare estate in the Old East of Pretoria, the school offers a unique mountain bike route that’s filled with something for every type of rider. The stunning campus offers some gravel, technical climbs, thrilling single track and free flowing track, all without even leaving the property.

Entry options are for solo or team riders depending on your biking spirit (Only one rider per team will be allowed on the track at a time).

5km+ LAP

5km+ LAP

Riders will navigate the 5km+ lap which is completely set within the Boys High estate ensuring safety throughout the race.

6 hour event

6 hour event

The 6 Hour event starts on (6th September) Saturday at 14h00 and ends later that evening at 20h00 allowing riders to experience the thrill of night riding. Own lighting & Helmets are compulsory.

24 hour event

24 hour event

The 24 Hour event starts (6th September) Sat at 10h00 through to Sun (7th September) at 10h00 (entry includes a breakfast bun, camping facility –(own tent), shower, access to the race village). Own lighting & Helmets are compulsory.

Pretoria Boys High School proudly hosts an iconic 24 Hour & 6 Hour Mountain Bike Race.

Set on the sprawling 35 hectare estate in the Old East of Pretoria, the school offers a unique mountain bike route that’s filled with something for every type of rider. The stunning campus offers some gravel, technical climbs, thrilling single track and free flowing track, all without even leaving the property.

Entry options are for solo or team riders depending on your biking spirit (Only one rider per team will be allowed on the track at a time).

Riders will navigate the 5km+ lap which is completely set within the Boys High estate ensuring safety throughout the race.

Riders will aim to complete as many loops of the circuit within  the allotted 6 or 24 hours. All cyclists must ensure they have the required bike lights and headlamps, including those who ride in the 6 Hour, as it includes a portion of time after sunset.

The 24 Hour event starts (6th September) Sat at 10h00 through to Sun (7th September) at 10h00 (entry includes a breakfast bun, camping facility –(own tent), shower, access to the race village). Own lighting & Helmets are compulsory. The event will include Food and Beverage for sale, but entrants are welcome to also provide their own food as well. There will be Coffee for sale as well for the entire duration of the event.

The 6 Hour event starts on (6th September) Saturday at 14h00 and ends later that evening at 20h00 allowing riders to experience the thrill of night riding. Own lighting & Helmets are compulsory.

6 Hour Corporate Challenge (Teams of 4 only ) Saturday the  6th September Starting at 14h00 and ends at 20h00.

The Race Village will overflow with enthusiastic bikers and will double up as a gathering spot with food & beverages available!

Camping: No charge for camping but bring all your own gear and at own risk. (security will be on site) It is not a campsite so electricity is not provided – should you wish to charge or use electricity – there will be plug points designated
